Concert Band, Jazz Band & Choir

CONCERT BAND has taken off this year! W are currently at 80 students in the ensemble!!! :) 

** If you are still interested in Concert Band, please show up to our next rehearsal:

Wednesday, September 18 @ 7:15 am # in the Band Room! 

** Please remember that 7:15 is downbeat (beginning of rehearsal). Please ensure you arrive in enough time to get yourself set up for rehearsal and give your self time to do a proper warmup. **

My room is open at 7:00 am for students to begin setting up. 

CHORAL MUSIC (CHOIR) begins NEXT week:

Thursday, September 19 @ 7:15 am in the Band Room. 

**Please arrive a few minutes early to prepare for a great rehearsal.

**** We are Looking for 2 student accompanists for our Choir. You can gain 5 credits (for Gr. 10-12 students) and will get a grade for playing piano for us. :) Please see Miss LaBine ASAP if interested!

JAZZ BAND will begin NEXT Week. However, auditions may need to occur for specific sections of the ensemble due to such a large interest in the program. 

If a lot more students show interest, we may be able to split into two ensembles (Beginner and  Advanced Jazz).

Our First rehearsal for Jazz Band (if we have one band) will occur on:

Tuesday, September 17 @ 7:15 am

If there are two bands, the beginner ensemble will rehearse on Mondays 

and advanced on Tuesdays @ 7:15 am.
