Music & Performing Arts Banquet
A Celebration for Students, Parents, Family Members and Friends Friday, June 7, CHS Gymnasium Doors open at 6 pm Dinner at 6:30 pm Tickets are $35, including a catered buffet dinner Cheques made payable to CHSBPA, or you can etransfer to [email protected] Semi-formal/formal event. ** All tickets must be purchased by Thursday, May 30, including dietary restriction requests* An evening of celebration and reflection on the year's accomplishments and most memorable moments. Student awards, performances, slideshow, speeches, and social time together. Please join us to celebrate all the hard work and talent these students have shared this year. We are so proud of them and hope you can attend this wonderful evening. Due to increasing costs at the golf course, we have chosen to bring the banquet back to the school to allow more families/students the opportunity to attend. We look forward to creating a beautiful banquet event for our music and performing arts families.

Here are some important reminders for the next two weeks.
Symphonic Band - There is rehearsal tomorrow (Wednesday May 22), Monday May 27, and Wednesday May 29 at 7:15 am. Please be set-up and ready to play as a group by 7:20. We need everyone in attendance. Thank you :) Jazz Bands & Choir - We have a concert this Thursday, May 23 at 7 pm in the Theatre. Please remember to get your uniforms washed and ready. Students are asked to arrive no later than 6:15 pm on Thursday in Full Uniform. More details to come this week. Dress rehearsals for each group will be as follows: Choir: Wednesday after school Jazz 2: Wednesday during Conn3ct Jazz 3: Thursday period 1 Jazz 1: Thursday during Conn3ct Choir: Rehearsals the next two Wednesdays (May 22 and May 29) in preparation for our two concerts (Thurs. May 23, and Thurs. May 30) Spring Concert: Thursday, May 30 at 7 pm in the gymnasium. More details to come later. However, please note you will need to arrive by 6:15 pm in Full Uniform. ** We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up next Wednesday during Period 5, and first thing Thursday morning for tech (if needed) at 8 am. Please let me know if you are interested/available to help. Spring concert dress rehearsals are as follows on May 30: Thursday Period 1: Senior Band & Grade 9 Band Thursday Period 2: Symphonic Band & Grade 10 Band Thursday Conn3ct: Choir & remainder of Symphonic if needed Banquet Tickets: Music/PA Banquet tickets are available at the front office for $35 each. The Banquet is on Friday, June 7 at Cochrane High School. We would love to see many students and families there!!! We need final numbers and dietary restrictions by Thursday, May 30 at the latest. Tickets will be available at our Jazz concert this Thursday as well.
